A new SDL 1.2 release planned?

hi,

is there another SDL 1.2 release planned? If so when?

There’s heaps of bugs and patches in the bug tracker…

Is it a case of needing someone to go through patches and bugs, and
look for and test patches? If so I’ll go through them, and make a top
10 list of bugs/patches pygame developers would like applied for next
release.

year vacation and put out a maintenance release.

It would be nice to finally get a clean compile with C++.

Bugzilla has a voting feature. It will show what everyone wants most,
not just pygame developers.
