Version 0.2.6 of Crimson Fields has been released.
This is a bugfix release that fixes all known problems with the
previous version. The two most important fixes are
- computer player actually consumes crystals when building new units
- a subtle bug which would sometimes alter the map in a few places
Crimson Fields is a tactical war game in the tradition of Battle Isle.
Two players command a number of units on a map of hexagons, trying to
accomplish mission objectives ranging from defending important
locations to simply destroying all enemy forces.
Crimson Fields runs on Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris, Windows, and
probably a few others.
