Any plans for more full-screen options?

As far as I know, there is no way to specify the refresh rate of an SDL app.
That’s not too bad, but then there is also no way to query the current screen size.

Anything on the horizon for 3.0? I’m on Windows and using OpenGL, btw. Maybe
passing in a width and height of 0 to SetVideoMode() could return a surface
with the properties of the current display mode? I’m willing to do some coding :slight_smile:

Yep, it’s really high on the list for 1.3, once all the 1.2 bug fixes are done.

That’s actually in CVS already:
Added current_w and current_h to the SDL_VideoInfo structure,
which is set to the desktop resolution during video intialization,
and then set to the current resolution when a video mode is set.

    SDL_SetVideoMode() now accepts 0 for width or height and will use
    the current video mode (or the desktop mode if no mode has been set.)
