(battlechess) … does anyone know why it just
desapeared?
Would be nice remake it again.

A remake sounds like great idea. I have fond memories of that game. It’s
been so long since I’ve heard anything of it that I almost forgot it even
existed. I think I still have a copy of it on floppy somewhere. A remake
of California Games, now that would be truly great.

I loved that game! I think Blizzard was involved in it’s creation back
in the early 90’s. I wonder if Sam Lantania was involved in it’s
programming at all.

BattleChess was really nice. You can just play
it best on an AMIGA emulator.
A remake would be pretty cool.
It should not be that hard, take chess
routines from a GPLed chess game, put some
GFX together, some sound effects and
it should be done
