Been busy

Hey, this is just an excuse, so ignore it if you like.

I tried installing WinNT and Win98 on the same hard disk all day
Saturday, without success. Urg. At last I got WinNT, Win98, BeOS,
and Linux all installed together and Windows NT ended up being corrupt.
ARG.

Anyay, I’m up on about 38 hours nearly without sleep, because of
a major project at work, so I haven’t been able to do any work on
SDL.

I get tomorrow off, so I’ll probably have the next beta out in the
next couple of days.

See ya!

I’ve been there!

Cool. I expect to know more about the timer later tonight. Right now
I’m printing labels for 300 some high schools in California.

That’s going to be our first test mailing.

Free software - don’t make excuses, ask for patches

Hehehe… A couple of days ago, I had WinNT, OS/2 Warp 4 (with Voicetype)
and RH5 on my system. Then I wanted more space for /home and
/usr/local… There goes ~5 hours worth of setting up down the drain

(And then yesterday I got the urge to port Maelstrom to OS/2, and realised
that lilo won’t boot OS/2 for some reason…)

Hmm… I was up to nearly 48 hours sleeping… got late to work this
morining too because I slept through my alarm clock…

I get tomorrow off, so I’ll probably have the next beta out in the
next couple of days.

Thought I’d let you know, while we’re talking about days off work… I’m
starting up my own business at the moment, and the sdl mailing lists might
need to be moved in the not too distant future. (The bosses at Surf Net
City don’t even remember the mailing-list, and I’m the only one who would
be able to know of their existance (Hehehe… I’m the only admin who
understands my sysadmin methods :-), but when I get a domain name (and a
business name) I will move the list.

BTW, when are we going to see Alpha/Beta versions of SDL Maelstrom for
some debugging?
