Just wanted to point out that there’s a precompiled “plaympeg” in the
"smpeg-0.3.2.tar.gz" archive. (It’s about 1.2MBs uncompressed.)
Not sure you wanted it in there. It’d make the archive smaller if
it weren’t.

I did. I wanted people who couldn’t compile the source to still get a
taste of the MPEG playback. Although, it should be stripped.
I will release a new version of SMPEG in the next few days which fixes
a silly bug in the system stream parsing, and will have that stripped.

I will release a new version of SMPEG in the next few days which fixes
a silly bug in the system stream parsing, and will have that stripped.
Cool. I’m trying 0.3.2 out with VidSlide and the sound seems to work well.
It’s a little jerky at times, but my code’s insanely unoptimized.
