Bones animation? [to the moderator]

im not sure who to talk to but if the right person is listening, what if SDL
starts another official discussion mailing list more for the game
programming side of SDL?

sure there are game programming lists out there already but alot of them are
small or really specialized.

the sdl list is great for helpin people, there is lots of diversity in
knowledge of the people here, and its already big so thats why i think if we
had an official SDL game programming list for sdl/non sdl game programming
questions it would really kick butt!

Plus all off topic game questions people ask could go there instead of just
telling people to take it somewhere else, where newbies may NEVER find the
answer.

I think it would really be great!> ----- Original Message -----

Well, I can’t do more than agree since I posted my “offtopic” question
here
now can I?

i think it would be neat if there was an SDL game programming list for
questions about game programming.

since everyone on the list just about is making a game and knows
something

about it, its a great place to ask about such things, but its off topic
for
the regular list.

what does everyone else think?

Yea, I kinda knew this wasn’t really SDL related. But then again. It’s
very
often game related. And thinking of that and then thinking of how many
people here that makes games I thought that this was a good place to
ask…

This really isn’t anything to do with SDL. Bones come mainly into
3D

work, try looking around a bit for OpenGL code that uses it.

http://www.gameprogrammer.com/ is excellent! You’ll find quite a few of the
programmers on this list are also there including Master Bob Pendelton!.
(It’s how I found my way here.)
Have fun!
