Bugs that should be handled before 2.0.10

Apparently SDL2 2.0.10 will be released soon-ish and @icculus is looking for bugs that should be looked at before: https://twitter.com/icculus/status/1130335667458908160

The current list is at https://bit.ly/sdl2010_todo

So if you have another bug (or patch) that should be fixed (or included) for the release, you should tell him soon

@icculus I’d appreciate pulling in the workaround patch posted on this bug https://bugzilla.libsdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4395 for 2.0.10, so I don’t have to disable HIDAPI on Mac to avoid tripping over the bad gamepad mapping on the old Xbox One S firmware.

this patch has been applied, see https://hg.libsdl.org/SDL/rev/096f2f3c4bdc

Right now, thanks to the new fake mouse SDL_TOUCH_MOUSEID fixes there is a good way to support multiple windows for single touch. But the fully fledged touch finger API still lacks an obvious way to map the events back to a window for an app with multiple windows and multi touch. (Not common on mobile obviously, but possible on desktop platforms with touch)

See here: https://bugzilla.libsdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4331

This is not a new bug / limitation, but it’d be the last major limitation of touch removed. So I thought I’ll give a nudge again about this one
