Can't make scrap ( cut-paste demo from Sam) working

I’ve downloaded the demo scrap, it compiles well on Win32 (minigw32), and I
have a copy the text 'scrap-text’
but not of the image, it appears in the window, but when I try to paste it
in paint nothing append.
Has anyone knows the trick ?

I’m not sure what you’re trying to do here.
Can you describe step by step what you do, what you expect to happen, and
what actually happens?
