I recently tried compiling the latest sdl release (1.27 I think),
and I also updated my cygwin compiler, I’m running gcc 3.40.
I ran autogen and configure fine with no problems, but when I
type ‘make’ the compiler stops with the error message ’ cc1: error: invalid option `tune=pentiumpro’. I have tried hacking the configure files and regenerating the makefiles, but that didn’t help anything. Any ideas as to why I’m getting this error message?
