Contest info

I had some questions for Nostarch and just got the answers this
morning, I figured I’d share with anyone that’s interested.

After reading your information this bring up an interesting point…
The SDL community is quite diverse in terms of compiler of choice, and not everyone uses GCC.
What about all the other people who use SDL but through various bindings and not GCC? For example… my entry would have been made using Kylix for Linux on i386 machines. Does that mean that all the people who use binding are excluded from the competition? If that is the case, it’s a little sad. If they at least allow people to submit binaries and provide the source as well they will at least be able to judge entries by NON GCC entrants.

Do you happen to have an email for me to send a message to?

Thanks,

Dominique Louis

SDL mailing list
SDL at libsdl.org
http://www.libsdl.org/mailman/listinfo/sdl

Sorry, but this mail is again out of topic, please send your question to
whom correspond. I mean, you can find the mail sended to the list days ago
about the contest where appears the URL and mail address where you can
look for information and ask questions.

If you can’t find the mail, I help you with this:

URL: www.nostarch.com/?games
Questions: games at nostarch.com

Our I guess that you can ask to kokido at postmark.net whom is the one that
made the page about the mails that himself send to know about different
issues. We don’t know anything about what happens with people using other
compilers or binding, nor if it is on Kylix, PHP, Perl or whatever other
binding of SDL.

Greettings.
Ernesto.

PS: excuse me if the mail seems a little rude, but some pleople use to be
subscribed to several list and becomes a little annoying to find their
mailboxes filled with questions, answer or opinions about things that
doesn’t belong to the list.On Tue, 18 Sep 2001 Dominique at SavageSoftware.com.au wrote:
