Any ideas on how to solve this?
Just found the solution myself - sorry for the newgroup noise.
One of the DLLs was buggy. After removing all the DLLs and placing them
back into the directory one by one, I located the problem-DLL. Recompiled
it and everything works fine.
Teaches you something about the quality of Windows error messages …
