The latest CVS snapshot contains the following fixes:
0.9.8: Now detects fixed version of Metro-X X11 server
0.9.8: Fixed XFree86 DGA banked mode update
0.9.8: Fixed mouse press viewport shift on XFree86 DGA
I can’t test any of these fixes. If you have a Metro-X server, a banked
video card, or problems with DGA fullscreen mode, please give this a shot
and let me know if it works for you.
When these fixes have been tested, I will release SDL 0.8.9 and 0.9.8
including these fixes. Note that the public development version of SDL
is still at 0.9.6. 0.9.7 is an interim release, just to get something
I can generate patches from.
