CVS Update (New API functions)

Okay, okay, I know I said no more API changes, but this is the last
chance before SDL 1.2 to add API features. It does mean that the docs
need to be updated (Akawaka), and a 1.1.8 release will be out. Once
1.1.8 is out for a few days, I’ll start putting together the 1.2 release.

Anyway, the latest snapshot is at:
http://www.libsdl.org/cvs.html

Changes:

  • Added NAS audio server support (thanks Erik!)
  • Added SDL_NOFRAME for frameless windows (thanks Andreas)
  • Added support for resizable windows on MacOS
  • Added a function to query the surface clip rectangle
  • Added a function to query the current event filter
  • SDL_ShowCursor() can be passed -1 to query state

See ya!

Awesome. How soon do you think 1.2 will get incorporated into stable
Debian?

(Or should I figure out who’s the maintainer and ask them?)

I know exactly how you feel. I’ve given up on catching up on my SDL
work. I’m just going to work at a steady pace and when things are
done I’ll release them.
