The SDL library has been updated to use GNU make, since all the demos
require it, and it allows me to get rid of the symbolic link hacks.
Please check it out and let me know if it works well for you.
If you have access to irix, osf1, or sunos, please see if you can
get the architecture-specific portions of the build to work for you
(take a look at make//functions and see what needs to be done
for your platform, and then copy make/linux/* to make//* and
edit them appropriately)
If you can get me an account to those operating systems, I’ll be happy
to do the work myself.
This new structure will allow easy adding of more UNIX ports.
Thanks!

I added a sample configuration for SunOS to the latest CVS snapshot.
Can you test it?

I don’t know how to use it and don’t have time to learn.
Wanna try it? You have to cover Linux, SunOS, Win32 and BeOS.
