Cygwin/MingW, new iostreams, SDL, OpenGL

I am trying to make my project build on win32 with
either Cygwin or MingW. My project uses new iostreams
and OpenGL.

SDL uses -mno-cygwin, thus it uses the mingw option
in cygwin. The mingw included in cygwin does not have
C++ libraries. What should I do? I tried using STLport,
but I got some undefined references when linking. I tried
to make SDL to build with cygwin dll, removing -mno-cygwin
from configure, but there are also -mno-cygwin stuff in
libtool things.

Anyone else managed to build SDL + iostreams on cygwin
or mingw?
