Debugging SDL apps, OS X

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I’ve googled and couldn’t
find any references.

I’m using the latest version of OS X and Project Builder to develop
some SDL/OpenGL applications, however, I can’t seem to debug any code
through Project Builder when SDL is involved. I can’t even set a break
point in my own code! The debugger just does nothing, and the
application terminates.

Is there some voodoo to debugging SDL apps through project builder that
I’m unaware of? It used to work fine with an earlier version of SDL,
but 1.2.5 is having none of it. Any help would be gratefully
appreciated…

Best Regards
