DGA problem, any one?

I have been using SDL for a couple of years and I can only stick with Mandrake
9.1 because of a strange problem. I wrote a typical SDL program with a simple
PollEvent message loop just to detect the quit condition. Inside the loop, I
keep bliting a image block (400x400) to screen to check the frame rate.
Everything works OK until I quit the program. When it goes back to the
terminal screen, the screen keep scrolling and scrolling until I press a key.
(any key will do the trick) I am using a Nvidia GFroce card and DGA mode is
enabled. Mandrake 9.1 doesn’t have this problem but it happen to all other
releases including red hat and Suse! If I turn off DGA then it’s OK. I have
been searching web for a long time and can’t see any people report this
problem. Maybe most people don’t use DGA at all. If anybody have encounted
this problem or know the solution, please let me know. Thanks!

Did you try also testsprite with using DGA ?
What driver do you use ? The Open Source radeon driver
or the commercial NVIDIA driver ?

I’ve noticed the same thing, it continuously scrolls #'s until I press a
key. I’m using DGA.
