I am trying to compile SDL 1.2 on my system, but I do not have alsa and
it thinks that I do. How do I disable the use of alsa when I compile?
Thanks

Anybody interested in adding ALSA 0.9 support? I’ve never gotten ALSA
working on my system (lots of kernel panics), so I am not in a rush to
do it myself.

I don’t remember well the errors but I know that some Macros aren’t
defined anymore in Alsa i think as it compiles well (of course) with
older version of Alsa…
I wish I had time to help you obviously like everybody else around
there…
