Does SDL support certain Blitting routines

Hi All,
Does SDL support blitting routines like the ones mentioned @
http://www.fastprojects.com/ .

I would like to port a commercial title from Windows to Linux that uses
this library and I need to know if SDL supports some if any of the
features mentioned, and if not, if there is another solution.

Obviously I could try and write the library from scratch but I would
like to avoid that if possible.

Any advice appreciated,

Thanks,

Dominique

When using SDL directly, you have to do pretty much everything on your
own. Essentially SDL just sets up the video device and gets out of the
way. There are several add on libraries that provide more features on
top of SDL, though. See the libraries page on the SDL website. I also
would like to plug my library, libksd (http://libksd.sf.net/) which is
decent.
