Any direct func or template to make a table for a quick result or would I need to make it all from scratch?
Do you mean an actual table furniture?
I assume they mean a table like <table> in an HTML doc, or a spreadsheet kind of thing.
SDL only has drawing primitives, but something like Dear Imgui is pretty painless to drop on top of SDL and get what turns out to be a pretty powerful, complete, and cross-platform GUI library that draws right into your SDL window without a lot of drama.
There are other options, too, depending on what you’re trying to do specifically.

I’m trying to render text inside fields with a set fixed distance to edge from center and will do auto sizing based on text amount. No lines in table, just spacing to text if it changes anything from your previous response. @icculus any libs for c? Not c++
I feel so stupid right now. I took “table” too literally

as SDL is used a lot to draw furniture tables, that assumption wasn’t too far fetched
