ERROR: Couldn't initialize SDL: No available video device

I am trying to run SDL2.0 inside test Program .but I have this error
ERROR: Couldn’t initialize SDL: No available video device
I didn’t found any info about this error, can somebody help me and explain why it is so

  1. What is your OS/architecture/environment (Windows/OSX/Linux, 32/64bit,
    using special tools like cygwin or mingw)?
  2. How did you obtain SDL2 (mercurial, package, linux repo, etc.)
  3. If you built SDL2 yourself, what was your call and output from

It isn’t even in my spam folder.
