Feedback

hello here is the feedback of a non programmer
sdl is a wonderful thing but it is useless without
a setup . since half a year i trie from time to time
to install a game called armagetron . i never get
the game to run on startup it says something like
libsdl … cannot open…
sdl would be usefull if there are power installs with
a l l !!! files needed to run after installation the games
and apps.
please stop coding more features begin first with a
setup which is easy to install.

We already have, it’s just up to developers to use it.

Please, be a bit understanding; we’re coders! You know, the kind of people
that just get nervous when we see a flashy installer dialog…

Seriously, one should probably start using that, even for beta releases.
Might give the beta testing a significant boost, as well as allowing
non-hackers to provide some input to the creation process. (I mean, the most
serious gamers are probably not coders…)
