Can I ask SDL for the refresh rate of the OpenGL display that it just created for me?

Not at the moment. Is this necessary?

For me it is… I need to know that exact refresh so I can lock my FPS to it for an exact division of it. If SDL can’t do it perhaps someone know how to ask OpenGL to do it for me or is this an OS call only?

(Before anyone tells me that I don’t know what I’m doiung by locking the frame rate read this : (http://www.penstarsys.com/editor/30v60/30v60p1.htm). and consider “remaining fame time tesselation” for CPU independent LOD.> ----- Original Message -----
