Forums update

The forums were slow because of poor performance on Dreamhost hosting.
We’ve moved them off onto separate hosting, and DNS should update in the
next few hours.

Once you can reach the new forums, please let us know if there are any
issues!

FYI, there are almost 350,000 forum user accounts. Those spammers are busy!

I’m going to be removing any account that isn’t a member of the community
group. If your account is pulled and you’d like to recreate it, please
join the community group so you have posting permissions and your account
doesn’t get removed in the future.

To do this, click on “Usergroups” at the top of the screen, click “View
Information” on the Community group, then click “Join Group”.
Your group membership will be pending and I will approve it as soon as I
can.

Idea: make any users that don’t join the community group be
automatically deleted after a week. I’d also suggest making it easier
to find that you need to join the group, because it’s very easy to
miss that sticky thread.
