Freebsd

Hi,

I’m not sure if anyone else has tried this, but I’ve successfully built
and used SDL under freebsd. I never saw anything on the website stating
whether or not it worked, but everything went great as long as I used
gmake. I even got the PowerDraw lib, and an older version of my project
going so far.

Yep, FreeBSD is on the “unofficially supported” list of operating systems.
The only thing that doesn’t work is some of the thread stuff (latest POSIX
standard not implemented) and the CD-ROM code doesn’t completely work.
