FW: CVu - a call for articles

For anyone interested, this was posted to another users group and I wanted
to bring it to the SDL list. Bob, you are a particularly gifted writer and I
thought you may appreciate another venue.

Thanks,
Jason.> ----- Original Message -----

Subject: CVu - a call for articles

Hi,

I’ve recently taken on the editorship of the Assoc. of C and C++ Users
CVu magazine.

One of the things we’re trying to do is get the likes of wxWidgets
promoted as a viable alternative to the likes of MFC and as a platform
neutral method of creating applications (it was actually used as an
example quite extensively in my talk at the ACCU conference in Oxford a
couple of weeks back).

Would anyone here be willing to write a small-ish series of articles on
creating an application with wxWidgets, porting over from MFC and the
benefits of using a platform neutral method of creating applications?

If anyone would do this, please can you contact me off list
(editor at accu.org)?

Thanks

TTFN

At the risk of making an ass of my self I’m going to jump to the
conclusion that the line that starts “Bob” above is directed at me and
say, thank you, it is really nice to know that someone, anyone,
appreciates my writing. You made my day.
