Hello everyone.
I just wanted to say that I am new to SDL programming and all I can say is
WOW! I haven’t had this much fun since I figured out how to get to the
individual pixels on my Commodore64!
I’ve done a fair amount of low level Linux programming and SDL just keeps
proving to me that it is well designed from the core on out to the
interface. It keeps giving me clues as to how to improve my techniques and
ideas for getting things done in a multimedia programming environment. And,
it is SOOO stratifying to know that everything that I learn about it is rock
solid general computer science knowledge; NOT associated with any particular
OS.
In short, SDL is good for humanity.
