Getting pixel color value at (x,y) from an SDL_Surface?

Getting pixel color value at (x,y) from an SDL_Surface ???

Hi,

How I do the above?

Reason I ask is because I work on PacDude 100% game now,
and would like to change the loading of the tile map
from a messy and hard to code text file
to a SDL_Surface which would be loaded.

I just don’t know how to read a pixel’s color at x,y in an SDL_Surface.
