Good Job, Sam

Sam, I just wanted to send my complement for having the absolutely best wiki
(even though it’s still in progress) out of ANY programming library. I’ve
been tracking down a few different libraries the last few days, and most of
the documentation on these libraries is atrocious (opencv, you’re my prime
example)! Keep up the good work!

everybody needs to buy sam a jelly bean color of his choosing, just about to
delve into the murky depths of SDL1.3 for the first time in about 8 months.
bring on the pain.

Thanks Alex!

You have Sheena to thank for that, and I’m CC’ing her so she sees the props.

Thanks!On Wed, Nov 17, 2010 at 12:45 PM, Alex Barry <alex.barry at gmail.com> wrote:

As awesome as SDL programming has been and as accessible as SDL has made game programming to the average programmer, I could no longer contain my joy when SDL_mixer turned out to be so easy to use! Within 2 days I got my all my sound effects and music into my game and I was taken aback at how smoothly everything went! So thanks to you and your cohorts Stephane Peter and Ryan Gordon, and happy Thanksgiving to you and yours and best wishes from all of us enthusiastic users with SDL 1.3, we’re all rooting for you! -B
