Help with FLAC in SDL

ok so i have an SDL game and im trying to play a FLAC file so i call Mix_LoadWAV(“myfile.flac”); but every time i call it it just returns an empty value. Does anyone know why this is happening? on the chance that i compiled SDL_Mixer wrong or i didnt include the right files in my project, what are the exact steps to play a flac file in SDL, im using VC++ 2010. thanks in advance :smiley:
