Hi and a little rotozoom doubt

My name is Ferran F??bregas and i’m new on sdl mailing list. hi all!

I’m learning and using sdl since 2 month ago and i think that’s an incredible set of libraries… i bought some books but i’m waiting to arrive

Well… all of this is very interesting but i have two doubts

I’m using rotozoomersurface function from gfx library and i’ve to “problems”, first of all is that i need to use a colorkey function everytime a draw a rotozoomed surface, and this make the application slower?

and the second, the surface returned by rotozoom function has a black(0,0,0) background, if the original image has a different colorkey that 0,0,0, the returne d surface has 2 colorkeys and this don’t work, isn’t it? the unique solution is that the images has the black background ever?

and… other question that i think on the fly… can the rotozoom functions use the alpha channel?

Thanks in advance.

Ferran

Yes, it can. It even does anti-aliasing.
