History of SDL

Hi,

For my project, I’d like to add a little of the history of SDL. Is there
a definitive history knocking about (preferably written or authorised by
Sam).

I am aware of Wikipedia, but is considered ‘poor form’ to refer to it.

SDL was handed down to Sam by the Flying Spaghetti Monster on Mount
Platform, and It Was Good ™.

You can probably collect it if you scour various interviews and so forth.

Nah, not really, just would like a single source that will allow me to
ahem efficiently make one nice, neat reference in my blurb. LOL.

If I think of anything, I’ll let you know. I’ll probably post or send to
you what I write, so that it can be checked for accuracy.
