How do I display video (.avi, mpeg, etc...)?

I’m currently writing a game and want to add an - intro video - to it. How
do I go about it using SDL? I’ve looked through the docs but can’t seem to
find anything…

SMPEG library can play MPEG videos.
There are no doubt more libraries, these days.
