How do you submit a patch?

I’ve got a (simple) fix for a memory leak, which deals with a couple of bug reports and would be handy to submit back to the main development branch. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any notes on what the procedure is.

Is this written down somewhere, or could someone point me in the right direction?

You can submit bugs, issues, patches and whatnot over at bugzilla.libsdl.org

just add your a patch as an attachment. Speed varies, but the maintainers usually look over it and add patches rather quickly if it fixes something urgent or is small enough
