I finished Tetris...check it out

I finished my tetris game. Go to http://rbdev.g0dsoft.com/ to read about it
and download, or download directly from http://rbdev.g0dsoft.com/tetris.zip
.
It comes with the source code and Visual Studio project files. I think I
chose to make the source code completely free, with no license. I say the
source code, because I borrowed the sound effects from Tetris worlds. This
is my first SDL game. Enjoy.–

Without a license your software isn’t free, but automatically copyrighted.
So nobody is allowed to copy it without a license.

If you want to waive all your rights, you could put it into “Public Domain”.
But then nobody has a duty to even mention who the author is.

If you are looking for Free Software licenses:
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-list.html

P.S.:
And it would be nice, if you could mention which operating system is needed.Am Sunday, dem 15. Jul 2007 schrieb Adam Stevenson:

Sorry I messed up so much, that was my first release of source code. Now I
took all of your suggestions, thanks for the help guys.–

If you want to open source it, may I recommend GPL. Then for example I
could try and modify it so it’s more linux friendly and send you my
resulting work back to you.

I selected GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE.–

Hi Adam,

Played your SDL based Tetris game.
Very nice work for a first effort!

Played a few games - game seems stable.

I liked the pastel box graphics.

You should really map two rotation buttons though.
I recommend
[Z] rotate clockwise
[X] rotate counter-clockwise

Also, you should add some music using SDL_Mixer
(just google “Tetris music” for some authentic tunes)

Again, great 1st effort!

Can you play my Tetris game and give opinions?
