I was infected by the klez virus - don't open an attachments

Well i can safely say i had a bad day, which cumulated in being infected by the klez virus. I was meaning to single click on the attachment - but old habbits die hard.

I must say its quite a clever virus - it managed to get around the measures i had taken to protect agaist thing just like this (zonealarm and not a microsoft email program). although i’m not certain of that - hopefully it didn’t. but since i don’t know (yet) i hope 2 forewarn u.

and johann - its already to late for forewarn you - seems your infected.

Haha. ‘Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2600.0000’ is ‘not a microsoft
email program’?

START -> Settings -> ControlPanel -> Add/Remove -> Uninstall OutlookExpress

I like seeing that you were infected. Now your apologize shows that
you use your brain. If you think a little further you will find that
it doesn’t depend on the software you use though M$ mail prodcuts and
systems makes it extremely difficult to protect oneself.

If you want to use a cool mailer, try one or all of these:
Pegasus, TheBat!, PMMail or Eudora.

Never use HTML email. HTML is for websites and not for email.
