I'm sure

I’m sure you’ve recieved this bug already, but I use Twilight which also
uses SDL, recently upgraded to SDL 1.2.4 and had a ‘issue’.

Now with the release on Windows 2000 SP2 with an ATI Radeon VIVO running
their latest drivers 5.13.1.6037, when twilight exits

the Gamma is not reset back to Zero, or turned off. Thus until i reboot
the gamma is there, i can even re-enter twilight and exit and still have
the same problem.

Twilight will turn off the gamma, and then turn it back on (as i prefer
Twilight with high gamma obviously) But the Windows enviroment is not as
enjoyable with high Gamma.

Note, the Target is WINDX5 and OpenGL

(more then likely using DX Gamma instead of OGL Gamma since ATI doesnt seem
to support OGL Gamma).

Thanks

Grab the latest binaries from Lord Havoc. I tried them and it worked fine
for me. If you still have problems, report it to the project twilight folks.
Maybe there’s a situation where they’re not calling SDL_Quit() before exit.

See ya,

He was at last check building his own, IIRC. Did you manage to get gamma
to work when you tested it Sam? It works okay with current CVS on
LordHavoc’s NVIDIA setup. I don’t have Win32 and cannot test it myself.On Wed, Apr 17, 2002 at 10:17:50AM -0700, Sam Lantinga wrote:
