In Windows why does the SDL window contain it's own type of cursor

Hi All,
Under Windows I notcied that the Cursor within the SDL Window that is
created changes to a transparent Cursor. Is there a reason for this? I
would have thought that the SDL should respect the default cursor as
defined by the application that laughed the SDL_Window. Are there any
SDL functions that allow you to manipulate the OS’s cursor?

Any insight into this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dominique

It shouldn’t change to a transparent cursor, but it does change to a
different cursor, so that a cursor is visible in fullscreen apps.
That it also does this for windowed apps is shrouded in the mists of
time.

Yes, of course. The docs might be useful.
