IRIX Support?

Hi,

I just stumbled upon the fact that IRIX support has apparently been
removed from SDL almost 2 years ago, but not in any stable releases
yet. The commit was

http://lists.libsdl.org/pipermail/commits-libsdl.org/2011-February/003993.html

what do I have to do to get (official) IRIX support bak?

The only chance to get the official IRIX support back, would be if you or any
other person takes the position "official maintainer of the IRIX portions"
in SDL.

So, where do I sign up, and what would be my responsibilities (regarding
testing before releases, bug fixes etc)?

Basically you would be the man for the IRIX portion of SDL 2, coding it, fixing bugs,
making sure it does not harm other systems, …

You can ask Sam Lantinga for commit access, but easier would be if you take the actual
code of SDL 2, add IRIX support and upload it somewhere as a mercurial repository.
