Is it possible to synchronize the graphics to an audiofile (MOD, XM, IT…)
using SDL?
Screen fading or flashing…
?

Yes, it is possible, however I don’t think of it as synchronizing to the
music, I think of it as synchronizing to time indices that just so happen to
correspond to music events. This way, you can get about 100 "time events"
per second as opposed to the 4 or 8 tracked music usually has.–
