Is it possible to use smpeg together with mixer?

subj. The idea is to play movies in a game and in this time mixer is not
mixing, and when movie stops and gameplay resumes, mixer starts working
again.

As previous time no one answered, i’m posting it again:

Is it possible to use in one program sdl_mixer and smpeg libs together?
As far as i understood from sources it is not. Is there some work-around
for this problem?

Yes, we use this for HG2. Just build smpeg with --enable-mixer (which
it will do by default if you have the mixer headers).

Actually this is no longer necessary with SMPEG.

There is a file “README.SDL_mixer” in the smpeg distribution which describes
how to do this.

See ya,
