Is SDL_TTF supposed to be “pixel perfect” on Win/Linux/Mac ?

If yes, then I must be doing something wrong!

Hi Jesse,

One thing to maybe check would be that all the different versions of
SDL_ttf use the same version of FreeType, as maybe bug fixes or
changes between FT versions have slightly altered the font spacing,
which could show up as the differences you’re seeing.

And that all versions of FreeType
are compiled with the same settings.

For example compiled with or without the bytecode
interpreter.
