Yes, this is the right place for those questions but you will have better
luck getting a good answer if you ask a good question. You should probably

He did provide screenshots and code snippets in his (so far unanswered)
topic “Kerning and other glyph placement issues”.

(I have no experience with SDL_ttf though)
