iXalance with 1.1.*?

Is iXalance broken with libsdl 1.1.6? I’ve used it successfully with the
1.0 libs… I keep getting a SDL parachute deployment (which locks up
the terminal - I have to kill -9 from another xterm…

I freshly downloaded midas and ixalance and SDL 1.1.6 and they worked fine
for me with jizz.ixa on Linux 2.4. Can you give any more information?

RH6.2 with stock kernel, Helix-Gnome - latest, libs out the nose, new
Midas and iXalance. The PTC based prog played them okay (as long as I
specified the bitdepth). I played all three of them through the PTC
based iXalance (statically compiled) - they wouldn’t do fullscreen, but
they played fine. That kinda cleared the actual ixa files. I’m not sure
if the PTC iXalance used the Midas, but I assume it did. I also logged
on with a 16 bit just to see if that would work - included it in the
argument too. Same problem. Perhaps I’ll try the 1.1.7 and see if the
problem disappears…
