I try to support SDL as good as possible for me.

Normally a slow site is no problem for me, but
SDL has moved to a new Hardware and in the past
SDL was lightning fast even on release days.

Thanks to Scott Call for his hosting work.
Maybe at the moment he is trying to fix the
problem.

Ty for answer, if sdl team nead help with host or temp host, call us from
list to help in possible bad times…

Regards!

I think it’s just a temporary network/hardware issue, not a question of
the bandwidth cost.

The bandwidth for the site was drastically cut at the new site. Scott
is finding new co-location for the site, which should happen next week.
If you’re having trouble downloading anything, let me know and I’ll
either mail it to you or set up a mirror at icculus.org.

Thanks for your patience!

I may be in a position to offer SDL another permanent web site location.
Would you be interested in that if I can?On Sun, Jan 14, 2007 at 12:44:38PM -0800, Sam Lantinga wrote:

It would be usefull to know how much
traffic SDL caused for example in release months ?
So that people who want to offer servers,
may know how much traffic will come to them.

If he has problems to find a new host,
maybe we should ask the people at http://osuosl.org/
They are also hosting master.kernel.org.
