libu, the C++ (multimedia) framework has been renamed to libuta and we have
moved it to www.sourceforge.org, the link is
The latest release is 0.3.8, which now uses libsigc++, a C++ signal/slot
implementation, features several widgets and uses libsmpeg and libmixer for
music and video playback. We are currently working to fix the api for the
stable realease 0.4.0; the current cvs version is 0.3.10.
So if you are curious, take a look in. We are always in need of developers who
review the code and/or bang on it.–
