Just a quick question. In looking through the changelog for the most recent SDL
(1.2.1) release, it says:
- Added Linux PlayStation 2 Graphics Synthesizer support
Erm… what exactly does this mean? Does this mean that SDL apps can compile
on the PS2 Linux dev kit? If so, what all is supported? (2D, 3D ?)
(Forgive me if this has already been covered… If it has, I missed it)–

It is support for the recently released Japanese Linux/PS2 beta.
It includes full support for the PS2 running Linux, including accelerated
2D graphics directly on the console, and YUV hardware acceleration.
I’m hoping it gets to the US soon so I can buy a PS2.
See ya,
