Looping MP3s via SDL_mixer / still broken

Hi there,

Using SDL_mixer 1.0.6 I’ve found that mp3 files won’t loop - for
example, use the example program ‘playmus -l whatever.mp3’ and you’ll
only hear the file once.

Searching the achives, I found a message from Steve Madsen Wed April
2000 titled:
"[SDL] Looping MP3s fade, looping WAVs don’t" in which he says:
“I fixed SDL_mixer-1.0.5 so that sound files loop properly”

Perhaps this fix hasn’t made it into SDL_mixer-1.0.6?
