I removed @David_Ashley from the sdl mailing list but I keep getting email
from the list. Any ideas? I instead made an email account sdl at xdr.com which
is on the list–the volume of sdl swamps out my personal email so I want it
going to a separate place.

The sdl-unsubscribe at surfnetcity.com.au isn’t honoring unsubscribe requests.
I’ve sent in several and I keep getting email sent to @David_Ashley. That’s
the real issue at hand, not how I could use procmail to filter out the
mailing list entries. I mean, isn’t it better to honor the unsubscribe
request in the first place? Please help me with this, it’s getting a bit
annoying.

This is a real problem – Michael Samuel is the admin of the list, so he
can manually remove you.
Done.
Michael, PLEASE fix this!
There isn’t a problem – ezmlm goes by envelope sender, not From: address. If
you have a different envelope sender to the address you subscribed as, you can
either forge a message, or do the sdl-unsubscibe-box=host at surfnetcity.com.au
hack, described in the help message.
If you don’t remember what address you subscibed as, the Return-Path: header
may jog your memory.
FYI, I just tested the unsubscribe mechanism, and it worked perfectly.
Also, is there any way I can get admin access to the system so I can fix
these problems if I need to?
No - nothing ever goes wrong with systems that I admin (Seriously – the
only problems I’ve ever had with my mail hub were either user problems, or me
making a typo while doing a chown -R
Maybe you should put the ezmlm help message on your web site somewhere. (I have a cool little text to html parser :-)On Sun, Jul 26, 1998 at 11:43:39PM -0700, Sam Lantinga wrote:

Don’t trust anything I say, just give it consideration.
Did anyone else just get 87 messages from SDL, most of them dated last year?
Or was it my ISP that screwed up?

If you’re talking about all of the duplicate messages, I’d describe it
more as a stutter.

I was going to use an even more descriptive word, but I realized I
probably shouldnt say that on a public mailing list…
BTW, I thought that gateway was dead, does anyone know why it isnt?On 12-May-2004, Jeff wrote:
